Drummond F. McCunn
Drummond F. McCunn is the Senior Partner Emeritus. He received a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics from Stanford University in 1969 and a Juris Doctor from San Francisco Law School in 1974, becoming a member of the California State Bar that same year. He began his practice in 1975 in the San Francisco Bay Area emphasizing estate planning and probate. Drummond now continues his over 38 years of estate planning for clients in the Sacramento, Placer, and El Dorado counties.

Drummond T. McCunn is the Principal Partner of our firm and received his Juris Doctor with honors from University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. At McGeorge, Drummond received the Witkin award in negotiations and intellectual property; he also worked in the Family Law Clinic before working as a law clerk in a family law practice. While growing McCunn Law, Drummond graduated with honors with an LLM in Tax Laws at Golden Gate University with a focus on business tax, estate tax and probate. Drummond recently obtained certificates in Collaborative Divorce and Mediation. Drummond is currently working at obtaining his certificate of specialization in family law and probate. His undergraduate degrees are in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University. He previously worked in Silicon Valley at Hewlett Packard and Cisco Systems as a manager of executive consulting teams for 12 years. Drummond enjoys the financial, business and tax side of planning for clients. Drummond has successfully handled and closed over 1600 cases.
